Excellently situated, near to the train station yet quiet room. 😀 - The hotel was easy to find being close to the railway station via a pedestrian area (car parking available). The reception area was easily accessed, the staff pleasant and gave clear instructions as to accessing my room and meals. The room was big, had an en suite shower and a wardrobe that backed onto the shower wall and not my neighbours . I particularly liked the large bed, with a lightweight duvet and the collection of soft towels. The air conditioning was quiet and doors did not bang closed. This enabled a quiet relaxing environment. Requested service to attend to a couple of issues was prompt and satisfactory. 😞 - The room did not contain kettle or drink making facilities as this is accepted practice in Germany. There was some shelving and a few hangers for the wardrobe and the bedside tables were boxes with no drawers.

The hotel is in a great location for the city - very easy walking to all sights and extremely handy for the train station for wider visits in the region. The rooms are dated and the pillows are not great. Service was very good at reception.
